4/4 Fine French violin c.1850

4/4 Fine French violin c.1850

This fine French violin from c.1850 is a perfect example of the kind of work produced in Mirecourt during this period. After the 'Paris' style, it shows influence of Aldric and Pique. The violin features a sweet, singing tone and is finished with intense reddish brown varnish.
