Stringers sponsors two organisations
Thursday, 27 May 2010 15:50

Stringers is pleased to announce that it has recently started supporting two musical organisations, Celos Rock! and the Arpeggione Viola Course, which provide children and young players with the opportunity to participate in musical events over several days.

Stringers has provided bursaries for both organisations this year. These bursaries will help children of families not able to pay the full course fees to attend the courses.

Cellos Rock! was founded by Director Sheida Davis and provides young cellists with an opportunity to learn more about music and playing the cello in an informal and enjoyable atmosphere. Cellos Rock! courses are held in July and December every year.

For further information about Cellos Rock! please click here to visit their website.

jpeg_arpeggione_logo_copy_1The Arpeggione Viola Course was founded by Artistic Director Jacky Woods. The week-long course takes place in April every year and aims to provide young viola players with the chance to meet up and experience masterclasses, recitals and tuition that are specific to the viola.
