The "detailed care" which Stringers is quoted by article author Helena Ruinard as giving to the set up of its Student instruments means that "the strings sound nice..., they stay in tune and are easy to adjust, they sit at the right height above the fingerboard... and are all at the right levels so that it is easy to play one string at a time meaning that the pupil's arm levels can develop well."
The Stringers Superior and Sonata violin outfits are also compared favourably with other similarly priced violins on the market.
