Part-exchange Scheme

The Stringers Part-exchange Scheme gives customers the opportunity to exchange (ex-VAT) any instrument that was originally purchased from us for an instrument of same or higher value.

The Scheme is ideal for parents of growing children, and for customers who wish to upgrade the quality of their instrument in stages.

The original receipt must be produced at the point of part-exchange. Stringers will make deductions when deemed necessary for any work required to restore the instrument to good, resaleable condition (e.g. replacement strings, bow rehair and / or retouching of varnish). Part-exchange cannot be guaranteed if an instrument has sustained major damage.

Returns Policy

Stringers is usually happy to exchange anything bought from us providing that the item is returned within 2 weeks of purchase and is in new, unused condition. Refunds are at the discretion of the shop Manager but are generally only given if the returned item is inherently faulty. The original receipt must be produced at the point of exchange.
